      Description

DCP checkpoints are currently persisted once per DCP snapshot (per vbucket).  Under moderate load, snapshots are typically as small as a single key, resulting in a high relative overhead for checkpoint persistence.

It's safe for Sync Gateway to restart from a stale checkpoint, so it's preferable to define a maximum frequency for DCP checkpoint persistence.
