xcframework : Distribution

We would also need a proposal for how .xcframeworks will be distributed. Clearly downloads page is an option that will work but many customers use cocoapods/carthage.  We will have to look into  for cocoapods /carthage support (which does not seem to support these platforms)

Depending on how long it takes to support these we may have to make a decision to no longer distribute via carthage or cocoapods - but further investigation and due diligence is needed before we get to that conclusion. This ticket is to track our findings so we can make a suitable recommendation.
