    Description

ASK: What are the plans to support libcouchbase on Ubuntu 16.04. The Python SDK has a dependency on the C SDK also.

      Using the instructions here:

      http://developer.couchbase.com/documentation/server/4.0/sdks/c-2.4/download-install.html

Currently the deb installation fails on Ubuntu 16.04 with the following message with a reference to Trusty:

      >$ sudo dpkg -i couchbase-release-1.0-0-amd64.deb

(Reading database ... 177364 files and directories currently installed.)
      Preparing to unpack couchbase-release-1.0-0-amd64.deb ...
      Supported platforms are: Debian/wheezy, Ubuntu/lucid,precise,trusty

dpkg: error processing archive couchbase-release-1.0-0-amd64.deb (--install):
subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
      Errors were encountered while processing:
      couchbase-release-1.0-0-amd64.deb
