            Hi,

            I am working on this.

Since we have various components in the CMOS configuration, configuring just grafana and alerting is not enough. We need to provide configuration options for other components too. This is already captured to a great extent in this page

I will restructure and add the missing bits

Please note that when we say K8S here we mean using our official Couchbase Autonomous Operator. Refer to the docs for that for details on how to configure monitoring and log forwarding.

            https://docs.couchbase.com/operator/current/overview.html

We will not be explicitly supporting the myriad of ways people can do this themselves manually but a lot of the information will be transferable.

This is also not for 0.1 although a nice-to-have feature.

Thanks Patrick Stephens, Adding some more info from previous discussion:
Prince: There is a step to configure ingress which IMO should not be part of the docs because this is some additional setup.
Patrick: I'm happy to not have it in the tutorial as long as we do document what needs to be done for Ingress. For the example it was intended to be a complete solution locally, e.g. for dev.

Prince : Since we cannot provide all these ways in our docs, we should provide none of them.
PatrickL: Disagree, we must have a working example - we can indicate the myriad of ways to do it but we should pick the simplest/common one to show.

Yes, this should get prioritized as P1 good-to-have for the 0.1 developer preview release. Thanks!

Anil Kumar should CMOS-23 be higher priority than this, i.e. how to tune & customise for on-premise?

Patrick Stephens agreed CMOS-23  be higher priority than this. Thanks!
