Add details to the IN operator documentation

Hello Query team,  
A customer is interested in having say 200 ( dynamic values, i.e. they don’t know these values ahead of time) in the IN clause of a query.
 
Question
Is something like ‘select a,b,c from table where a in [val1, val2, … , val200] efficient from a query perspective?
 
Can we do something more suitable for this use-case, i.e. replace IN with any other approach.
