TP Sprint 27
Description
"Existing MapReduce views distribute the index data aligned with the data service data and that is still available for use. New indexes can be independently partitioned."
I don't understand what this is trying to say.
Sentence 1:
- what is meant by 'existing'? I didn't get that from the previous sentence.
- what does "that" refer to, and why do we even have to say it's still available for use?
- do we really mean "data service data?" If that's what we want to say, can we explain that one bit at a time?
- what does it mean that index data is distributed "aligned with the data service data?"
Sentence 2: - is "new indexes" in the second sentence being contrasted with "existing MR views" from the first sentence? (In other words, are we considering MR views a form of index?) If so, I think this may confuse readers.
