Select * from sasl bucket, 7M documents, shows results after about 15 minutes

1. Load 7M documents on the default and sasl bucket
2. Incoming sets on the bucket at 8 K ops/sec
3. Issue a create primary index on sasl - success
4. Issue a select * from sasl limit 1 — Empty values

Tried this about 10 times, the output is success with 0 items.

After about 15 minutes, the exact same query returns the results.

• This works okay w/ automation on smaller datasets and smllaer front load (100-200k docs )
  Expected query behaviour to me would be

• Error out saying - Cannot fetch
• Wait before the indexes are built?

• Here again : Select * from system:indexes shows the indexes online, almost immediately after the indexes are defined i.e. "Create index".

Once system:indexes are online - Should'nt users expect to see results on the buckets?
