    Description

When an XDCR error occurs (like the stream fails to send an update) there is no way of a user knowing about it unless they periodically check the XDCR tab in the UI. Given the potential consequences of failing to send a mutation, we should make this error message more visible.

      Suggestions include:

      • Decorating the XDCR tab button with a warning
      • Incorporating XDCR errors into the email alert mechanism
      • Incorporating XDCR errors into the UI pop alert mechanism
      • Adding a stat ("xdcr_errors") that users can monitor as they do with other stats (via REST api).
