    Description

When some component within Couchbase Server has a hard crash and creates a core dump, we should do our best to completely stop the service rather than constantly restarting that service. The current behavior quickly leads to exhaustion of disk space, in many cases rendering the system unusable and unrecoverable until Couchbase is uninstalled. It also creates a lot of confusion for the user because parts of Couchbase appear to continue running when it is actually not working.
