    Description

      goxdcr.log:ReplicationSpecChangeListener 2015-05-03T22:48:42.657-07:00 [INFO] metakv.RunObserveChildren failed, err=Post http://172.23.100.45:8091/_metakv: dial tcp 172.23.100.45:8091: connection refused

      cluster defined as:
      Data: 172.23.100.70, 172.23.100.71, 172.23.100.72
      Query: 172.23.100.55
      Indexer: 171.23.100.56

‘clean install’ on all nodes of couchbase-server 4.0.0-2010.

172.23.100.44 and 172.23.100.45 are client nodes, not part of the cluster.
console shows cluster as configured above, but error logs are filled with the mesage that the projector was unable to make a connection to 172.23.100.45.

this broadcast error prevents the Indexer from completing a simple CREATE INDEX.

note similar error message recorded in projector.log, goxdcr.log, indexer.log

note this error started when i did an rpm install of 4.0.0-2010 over 4.0.0-1977
