cbstats prints out "wrong" error message

If you try to run cbstats localhost:<incorrect port> slabs/items/tap prints out

trond@ok:1075> ./cbstats 192.168.0.78:12345 items
Stats 'items' are not available from the requested engine. ([Errno 32] Broken pipe)

but the truth is that it failed to connect there (which mcstat prints:

trond@ok:1076> ./mcstat -h 192.168.0.78:12345 items
Failed to connect to 192.168.0.78:12345
Error: error:0200203D:system library:connect:Connection refused
