    Description

      Need native on-disk encryption, ideally with FIPS-140 support.

      Today, encryption on disk is provided by Vormetric, now called Thales CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE).  Alternatively OS or Cloud provided encryption using tools such as LUKS and EBS volume encryption are used.
