Installing watson centos7 installer on centos6 machine does not give error but does not install properly

    Description

      Installing centos7 version on centos6 machines:

      couchbases-MacBook-Pro:testrunner prernamanaktala$ ssh root@172.23.107.56

      [root@localhost ~]# rpm -e couchbase-server

      [root@localhost ~]# rpm -i http://172.23.120.24/builds/latestbuilds/couchbase-server/watson/196/couchbase-server-enterprise-4.1.0-196-centos7.x86_64.rpm

      Please note that you have to update your firewall configuration to
      allow connections to the following ports: 11211, 11210, 11209, 4369,
      8091, 8092, 8093, 9100 to 9105, 9998, 18091, 18092, 11214, 11215 and
      from 21100 to 21299.

      [root@localhost ~]# /etc/init.d/couchbase-server status
      couchbase-server is not running
      [root@localhost ~]# /etc/init.d/couchbase-server start
      Starting couchbase-server

      [root@localhost ~]# /etc/init.d/couchbase-server status
      couchbase-server is not running

      It should not have installed centos7 version on centos6 machine. There should have been a message/error displayed in the beginning.
