Upgrade Erlang to latest
Perry Krug deleted the linked story in Pivotal Tracker
in Erlang R14 release
unable to reproduce this on 1.7. beta builds
I changed the vm's time zone to Jakart (wit) which is said to be broken on couchdb jira project
I was able to login to the UI without any problem and could see the logs.

how to change timezone in linux
verify the fix
need somebody to quickly test if R14 fixed this
just need to verify
A Pivotal Tracker story has been created for this Issue: http://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/9310075
I respectfully disagree. Having a separate bug for this issue means we can verify that it is actually fixed and make the necessary customer notifications if necessary.
Resolving as duplicate since we have a story to upgrade Erlang anyway and having a separate bug to track the timezone issue just clutters Jira.
Thanks Sean, but this is already in the release notes. Assigning it back to you to upgrade the Erlang code.
Assigning to Perry for release notes
This will be fixed by upgrading Erlang
Erlang 14b03 is now out, and probably fixes this. Reassigning.
The workaround of adding "export TZ=UTC" in the /etc/init.d/northscale-server file seems to resolve this issue.
