Description
When replication experiences issues with connections to target, it recovers by dropping the existing connection and setting up new connections. Sometimes the attempt to set up new connections fails with "connections reset by peer" error, as shown in CBSE-2479. As of now replication restarts on this error. It is better that replication retries the operation with exponential backoff in this case rather than restart itself, which may cause loss of work in the current replication run.
