Recent change allows compaction errors to go to UI Logs.

The issue here is these messages can make it harder to look for other errors or to track event history. At least 90% of history contains msgs about compactor exiting. (screen)
Since the messages I'm seeing here are being ignored we should not print those, but the other set of messages that cause compactor to exit should be printed
