[FTS] fts segmentation fault on cluster for ravi demo

Just got information about this cluster, and observed that it has an fts index. But...

searching the index results in error "pindex missing" (it seems to work now though)
looking at the logs shows many "fts exited, segmentation fault"

I will continue to add information as it becomes available.
