Description
Currently, it is not possible to restart only the indexer process/service gracefully within Couchbase Server.
For many reasons, including the process of troubleshooting indexer issues or perhaps even working around immediate production issues with indexer availability, it would be useful to have this ability without having to take down other installed services (data, query, full text) at the same time via our startup/shutdown script.
It's certainly possible to ungracefully kill the indexer process (which would cause it to restart automatically), but it would be nice to have a formal method of doing so within our product.
