Major Description
When I search the travel sample bucket by typing the following into the web console search box, I get "syntax error":

The colons cause that problem because they are field identifiers, but they also happen to be valid characters in a string, as in this case I'm trying to find a particular time that I didn't do anything special to index.
My questions:
- Can users escape the colon character?
- Are there other characters that might be passed in to a query string that will cause a syntax error to be raised? I think application developers will need some ideas about what sanitation they need to do to make it safe to pass inputs to query string queries.
