I installed the 1.0.2 deb on an ubuntu 64 machine, after the install was
completed, I was not presented with any text describing the EULA or informing
of the ports which need to be open
Here is what happens when I install on ubuntu
northscale@ubuntu:~$ sudo dpkg -i northscale-server_1.0.2_amd64.deb
[sudo] password for northscale:
Selecting previously deselected package northscale-server.
(Reading database ... 47326 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking northscale-server (from northscale-server_1.0.2_amd64.deb) ...
Setting up northscale-server (1.0.2) ...
Starting NorthScale server: done.
northscale@ubuntu:~$
Here is what happens on RHEL
You have successfully installed NorthScale Memcached Server.
Please browse to http://autobat_rhel_64:8080/ to begin testing or add this
server to a cluster. Please refer to http://northscale.com/support for
additional resources.
Please note that you have to update your firewall configuration to
allow connections to the following ports: 11211, 11212, 4369, 8080
and from 21100 to 21199.

on ubuntu, just follow what the rpm install does w.r.t. the license/EULA.
