Date format support

I'm trying to use a dataset in Analytics that has the format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM/PM, e.g. 01/01/2016 12:29:24 AM. I'm using this in conjunction with date_part_str(date, "month") and I always receive 0 as the month. I'm using 6.0.0.1684.

I'm writing a blog post using a csv dataset from https://data.cityofnewyork.us/Transportation/2016-Green-Taxi-Trip-Data/hvrh-b6nb and this means that a separate processing stage is required to convert the dates into something supported before loading the data into Couchbase.

It'd be very useful if there was a way to tell analytics how to parse unsupported datetime strings.
