    • Single machine cluster (gcloud n1-standard-4, 4 vCPU, 15 GB RAM). Linux version 4.15.0-1050-gcp (buildd@lcy01-amd64-002) (gcc version 5.4.0 20160609 (Ubuntu 5.4.0-6ubuntu1~16.04.12)).

    Description

I have a "sleeping" (no buckets ops, demo system database) single server (n1-highmem-2 - 2 vCPU, 13 GB) installation of CB server 6.0.0 CE where CPU is saturated by beam.smp process. I've tried to stop sync gateway, but CPU load doesn't change. Also restart service or machine reboot didn't help. Generally CPU load used to be about 10%. Migrating to bigger hardware reduce the relative CPU load (n1-standard-4, 4 vCPU, 15 GB) but still high in relation to server's history.
