[CX] 7.x doesn't work as a remote link destination from 6.6

    Description

      Currently connecting to future remote link targets only works in DP in 6.6.0-6.6.2.
      To support upgrade scenarios this needs to to be supported in 6.6.3.

      Note, only the _default scope and _default collection can be supported (as is the case in the DP today).
