Unable to stop service if manually configured invalid name

      Description

      Per Perry's email:

      >> Yes, with "-name ns_1@<ip> " if ip is mistakenly wrong. Start service, see that it "stops" but processes are still running.

      >> Obviously I made a mistake, but still.

      Maybe we should detect bad IP early and complain when starting service. Or maybe we need to find other way to stop service. Without reaching it via erlang's distribution facility.
