PITR: Provide estimation guidance, calculations for storage expansion

    Description

      One of the feedback received on couchstore PITR (Developer Preview in Neo) is that some guidance is needed (how to estimate/calculate) the amount of storage expansion likely due to PITR settings:

      • Granularity - the finer the granularity of restore (e.g., 1 second verses 5 minutes) the more data to store.
      • Roll-back history – the further we allow to roll-back the more data we need to store.

       

      Also, info on minimum PITR granularity setting and maximum PITR roll-back history setting.
