Description
The UI notifies users that:
Note: Total Couchbase RAM allocation for each node cannot exceed 90% of its available memory.
This is not strictly true. If max_memory is the total available memory in GB, the server limits memory allocation to:
max(80% * max_memory, max_memory - 1)
|
1 GB is the min reserved for system overhead. That said, our guidelines are that 10% of memory should actually be reserved. We should update the text to reflect this rather than the current sentiment.
