UI sometimes doesn't show docs when _default scope and collection is used.

Issues

When default scope and collection is used, _sometimes, the UI has strange behaviour:

• Add Documents button is not visible
• Retrieve Docs button is non-clickable
• No docs are retrieved
• A refresh sometimes fixes the behaviour and the docs are subsequently retrieved 
• It only appears to happen on load (when Retrieve Docs button is clicked, the normal functionality occurs.)

When the 'disabled' prop is removed from the 'Retrieve Docs' button, and is clicked, it shows "No Scope selected."
