    Description

      Hi folks,

When trying to install Couchbase 1.8 or 2.0 on Windows Server 2008 Server Core R2 (WSC), the installer states it needs Internet Explorer 6 or better, then will not install. Tried the silent install but that does not work either. I can install it in Windows 2008 Server Standard or Linux, but our environment is WSC and would like to run it on that environment.

      1. WSC will not let me install any version of IE.
      2. I installed Firefox successfully on WSC (thinking any default browser would work) and it still complained not having IE 6 or greater.
      3. Is this just an over site of the installer wanting a default browser or is their some dependency on IE (doubt it)?

As the reason to run Coucbase is to be lean and mean, I was hoping to get in on WSC.

      Any help is appreciated.

      Thanks in advance,

      Ryan
