    Description

      On this page:

      http://www.couchbase.com/docs/couchbase-manual-1.8/couchbase-backup-restore-restore.html#couchbase-backup-restore-prevstate-different

      The docs currently say:

      Warning

You do not have to "match" up the nodes one-for-one. However, ensure that each set of original data files gets placed onto one and only one node of the new cluster

In the context, I find that confusing. You do basically have to match up the nodes one for one:

      • You must restore to a cluster with the same number of nodes as were backed up
      • You must place each set of backup files on exactly one node

So that warning text should read:

      Warning

You must ensure that each set of original data files gets placed onto one and only one node of the new cluster

      Thanks,

      Tim
