    Description

Please write a new topic for the dev guide that explains how to migrate an app that uses the 1.x SDK to the 2.x SDK.

The topic should cover information that will help developers upgrade quickly and highlight any changes in the API that will cause their first compile against 2.x to fail or make their app behave differently. It should answer the question "what changes do I have to make in my development environment or my app itself to make it work with the 2.x SDK?"

Some ideas for what to mention:

      • any upgrades they need to their development environment or outside dependencies
      • if they need to upgrade the libcouchbase c client that they are running
      • objects that have structural changes (new attributes, deleted attributes, name changes, etc.)
      • anything with name changes (classes, methods, objects, etc.)
      • things deprecated
      • different libraries to include
      • anything that tripped up your developers who have already upgraded
      • anything else you can think of to help make the upgrade as seamless as possible for your developers
