[Backport MB-40699 to 6.0.5] Analyse possible race condition in updating GSI scan clients

    Description

      GSI scan clients can get updated concurrently due to replica retry. It is possible that due to cluster topology change, the concurrent updates to the list of GSI scan client can lead to closing of scan client due to a race condition.
