Minor Description
The command:

wget O http://packages.couchbase.com/ubuntu/couchbase.key | sudo apt-key add
should be:
wget O- http://packages.couchbase.com/ubuntu/couchbase.key | sudo apt-key add
/etc/apt/sources.list

Also there's a line for creating a new file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory. This seems incorrect... I changed a file called /etc/apt/sources.list and that seemed to work.
