Description
One of the pain points for customers is the lack of understanding of how to collect CBL logs in events of issues with their applications. Based on this supportability issue, here are some enhancements that we can do to improve:
- Custom Logging Tutorial and Documentation: Develop a comprehensive guide users on how to collect CBL logs effectively using the Custom Logging feature or otherwise through blog post and documentation enhancement. Ideas:
- Collating of learnings from CBSEs on what kind of issues are slowing down the debugging process from Dev, Support.
- What are customers unaware of? What will Support need in terms of enablement?
- Support Training and Enablement
- Blog: How to use Custom Logging with DataDog
- Some other popular logging and observability platforms our customers use are: SumoLogic (PG&E), New Relic, Grafana Loki (Aptos), AWS CloudWatch (Orona). Can users just get the logs to a custom HTTP endpoint, e.g. with basic HTTP auth?
