    Description

      As a developer, I would like to build Java apps that are using Couchbase Lite for storing data on the edge.

      Native Java was a supported platform in Couchbase Lite 1.x but is not supported in 2.x and the product team is evaluating demand for Java.

       

      For folks filing CBSEs when specifying the use case, please include specifics on

      • JDK version
      • OS to be deployed on (even if its Java we have some native C components)- example- Windows, Linux
      • If this is meant for a web container app or a "desktop" style app like SWING
