2022Q2 CB++ SDK Improvements

This epic is being used to gather up some specific improvements that we would like to accomplish by the end of SDK26 (the last Sprint of 2022Q2). This will not include "known issues" that will be done under other tasks, but it reserved for areas of improvement that we have either considered "short term tech debt" or areas that we have noticed can be improved since the initial release.

These issues are likely to be focused on: code quality, maintainability, and performance enhancements.
