Description
Sarath Lakshman raised this issue that we need to point out in the 7.6 docs (Not a release note, but rather a note in the new doc):
From Sarah:
When customers do inplace upgrade from couchstore to magma, they may notice higher disk usage compared to earlier disk usage with couchstore. Magma sets the default fragmentation threshold as 50%. In case of couchstore, full compaction is triggered at 30% and fragmentation may go to 0% after full compaction for low write workload. In case of magma we maintain fragmentation constantly at 50% (or configured threshold).
I think we should add a release note highlighting this not to cause any surprise. Customers can lower the fragmentation threshold to 30% if their workload is not write intensive.
