Description
My bucket is called "b2"
$ /opt/couchbase/bin/cbstats localhost:11210 -b b2 uuid
|
uuid: 79aa90955824b223bdddf6f7429ce751
|
This command on my system returns nothing,
$ /opt/couchbase/bin/cbstats localhost:11210 uuid
|
It fails silently if you do not specify the bucket name.
If you specify a bucket that does not exist, you will get an Authentication error.
$ /opt/couchbase/bin/cbstats localhost:11210 -b nonexistintbucket uuid
|
Authentication error for nonexistintbucket
|
If you do not specify a bucket, but ask for all, you can get some generic stats
$ /opt/couchbase/bin/cbstats localhost:11210 all | grep version
|
memcached_version: 3333fbc2a5f27cd03d95e68b19599c38f657b14b
|
version: 4.5.0-2601
|
According to the documentation, it should not fail, as this is the way to request uuid:
http://developer.couchbase.com/documentation/server/4.5/cli/cbstats/cbstats-uuid.html
Request syntax:
cbstats [host]:11210 uuid
Bucket name is not a documented parameter.
