In this forum question:
https://forums.couchbase.com/t/spanish-language-analyzer-in-fts/16885
The user points out that the 5.1 docs claim we include a Spanish analyzer. But we do not (as of 5.1).
On this page of the docs (referenced by the user):
https://developer.couchbase.com/documentation/server/5.1/fts/full-text-intro.html
We claim, "Full Text Search also includes Bleve’s general-purpose text analyzers, as well as pre-built text analyzers for the following languages: Arabic, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Persian, Portuguese, Sorani, and Spanish."
However, that is incorrect. While Bleve supports many of these languages, some require components not compiled into Couchbase Server.
I don't have the exact list, someone should check with .
Also, I notice there is a section, "What's New in this Release", which appears to be copy/pasted from 5.0, as it even starts with, "The following features have been added, as part of the 5.0 release of Couchbase Server". To the best of my knowledge, FTS had no changes in 5.1 and it is identical to 5.0.
