The specific issue raised by this ticket was resolved in the 6.0 docs via PR 39: https://docs.couchbase.com/server/6.0/install/install-ports.html#ports-listed-by-communication-path

as found in the forums: https://forums.couchbase.com/t/getting-only-partial-result-from-fts-on-2-node-cluster/18012/6
it looks like the 18094 port needs to be open for node-to-node comms as well (encrypted fts) which is not documented properly. https://developer.couchbase.com/documentation/server/current/install/install-ports.html
Probably makes sense to revisit that list with engineering again?
