    Description

From a user: Looking at this: https://docs.couchbase.com/server/6.0/learn/security/roles.html  I am confused on what can be achieved. Most of the roles seem to meant either for Admins or applications. There seems to be nothing for developers or testers that gives them above access. What would be the rightful set please?

I would suggest that we add an section at the top that describes a handful of "common roles" and describe which Couchbase-roles would achieve those goals:

      • For a Developer: Able to log into the UI and read and optionally write data but not change any cluster settings
      • For an Administrator: Able to log into the UI and add/remove nodes to the cluster but not view any data or change bucket settings
      • Application access: Not able to log into the UI, but able to read/write data
