Description
As a user, I'm interested to know which features are new in this version of the software, but I don't want to be distracted or confused by asides informing me in which exact version every single feature was introduced.
Many of the pages in the server documentation (particularly the query pages) contain labels or sentences indicating the version in which a particular feature was introduced. In most cases this is unnecessary. It may lead users to believe that a particular feature is not available in later versions.
The orange status label should be used in the following cases:
- For pages only: to show that this feature has been introduced in the current version.
- For pages only: to show that this feature is specific to a developer preview.
- For sections within a page: to show that a feature is specific to a patch release.
The italic (Introduced in ...) caption should be used in the following cases:
- For sections within a page: to show that this feature is new in the current version.
Other status labels or version captions should be removed.
