    Description

The page for the Functions REST API, which is https://docs-staging.couchbase.com/server/6.0/eventing/eventing-api.html

continues to bear a notice saying it is a "Beta feature" without support. It says this in 6.0 and unless changed, will say it in MH Beta also. If these APIs are now official, we can remove the notice.

The officially supported way as of access Eventing now is via the Couchbase CLI and the UI not the REST API, need to discuss with the QE team to get this item on the 6.5.x train.

Although in General I have found the the Eventing REST API is pretty stable and works as such it is close to being officially supported, I currently know of two issues in the REST API WRT Eventing (there could be others)

          • MB-37040 : Importing saved Eventing Handlers via the CLI will no longer work (but the UI will) this can mess up the version type
          • MB-37042 : Eventing CLI tools (cURL and couchbase-cli) should be able import Functions exported by the other tool this is an improvement
