    Description

      On the following page: https://docs.couchbase.com/server/6.5/learn/data/durability.html
      Durability documentation says:

"Timeout. The number of milliseconds within which the durability requirements must be met. If not specified by the SDK, the server-defined default of 30 seconds is used. If the number is exceeded, the entire synchronous write is aborted."

This is confusing users as the reality is they see a default timeout of 2.5 seconds set by the SDK. The server is never accessed without using an SDK, so there is no need to document the server timeout as it just confuses people.

      Two options:

      • Either remove the reference to the server timeout and that's it
      • Or, remove the reference to the server timeout and and reference the SDK timeout.
