Description
Specific Issues
The set of log files for this monitoring process is ns_server.babysitter.log which you can collect with cbcollect_info.
This sentence is unclear. The beam.smp process is not a
"monitoring process" and the log file ns_server.babysitter.log is not a
"set of log files".
I am not sure what this sentence is trying to convey, but one would not
typically monitor a process using log files, so the sentence is possibly
unnecessary and is definitely confusing.
If preservation of the detail around ns_server.babysitter.log is required
a more clear sentence might be:
"Information about the processes mentioned in this section is written to the
log file ns_server.babysitter.log, which can be gathered with the
cbcollect_info utility."
In the Couchbase cluster, all stats requests will be aggregated across the cluster and might produce some inconsistencies or confusion when looking at stats that are not “aggregatable”.
This statement immediately piques interest due to the term "confusion" around
"stats that are not “aggregatable”.", which begs the question:
"Which stats are not aggregatable?"
Consider listing those stats which are not aggregatable so as not to leave the
reader with additional questions.
Also, the heading "Port numbers" here might best be written as
"Stats and Port 11210" given that the section makes mention of "stats"
almost as much as it does "port numbers". Otherwise it is a bit unclear why
there is so much mention of stats and fewer mentions of only one port number.
