Description
A backup generated with cbbackup on a 3.x Couchbase cluster cannot be restored onto a 2.x Couchbase cluster. This page needs to state this. A workaround is to either use cbtransfer between the 2 clusters or use the legacy cbbackup utility on the 2.x cluster to backup the data from the 3.x cluster into a format the 2.x cbrestore can utilize.
