Page footer slides over left nav rather than compressing it

When you scroll to the bottom of the docs site, the standard page footer slides over the left nav. This is not the intended behavior and is not ideal because you have to scroll the page back up to access the full contents of the left nav.

The ideal behavior would be to compress the left nav, so that it can still be scrolled in its entirety. For an example, see https://docs.mulesoft.com/general/
