    Description

Attempting to follow the directions for getting the Travel Sample working with Swift doesn't work.

      https://docs.couchbase.com/tutorials/mobile-travel-sample/swift/installation/travel-mobile-app.html

      Two issues were observed:

Attempting to build fails because of framework linking.  This is covered on our website but the tutorial documentation hasn't been updated:

      https://docs.couchbase.com/couchbase-lite/current/swift/gs-install.html#get-started

I removed the framework reference that is created by the directions and added the reference via the Swift Package tab and that allowed me to build.

Once running the app the UI has a glitch with the status bar on the main page.  See attached screen shot.  I believe this can be fixed by updating the code to use the new light/dark mode theming support.
