Team Couchbase,
Your responses are valued, and we are listening.
We have received feedback regarding the Workspace One agent, and you were curious how this impacts your data, information, and privacy on corporate laptops. As a result, we have expanded the FAQ’s to include additional information on privacy, data collection, and overall purpose.

Since Couchbase has not previously had the ability to properly manage or recover laptops if they were lost or stolen, we are having to work to enable this in our deployment effort here. Unfortunately, this is not something the IT team can perform remotely, so we need your assistance to install the Workspace One agent on your corporate laptop. This is not intended for personal computers, mobile phones or tablets.

*If you have not yet installed the Workspace One agent, we are requiring this to be completed by Wednesday October 21, 2020. We sincerely appreciate your assistance here.
We need 100% of corporate owned laptops to have the agent installed in order to be confident we have secured our laptop environment. This will allow consistency in the support of corporate applications, enhance the protection of employee data, and allow for the recovery of corporate assets and information. It also is a key element as part of our public company readiness. The installation instructions for the agent are provided below.

Team Couchbase,
As previously communicated, Couchbase IT is launching our asset management platform to better protect and secure company devices. The time has come to enroll your company laptop!
Who:
All Couchbase employees and contractors
Action Required:
You will need to download and install the endpoint management software on your company laptop. This platform is only for company laptops on Mac OS and Windows and excludes other personal devices such as cell phones. Devices running versions of Linux will be added at a later date. Support:
Should you encounter any issues during installation please contact [5]helpdesk@couchbase.com so we can assist. The IT team will be monitoring device enrollments after the launch and will be reporting on weekly metrics to ensure everyone has completed this process. The overall installation procedure should take approximately ten minutes to complete
