Description
Summary
NodeJS SDK (4.2.2) on connecting to a CB cluster (7.1.4) exits with the error:
failed to open bucket: [Error: unambiguous_timeout (14)] { code: 14 } |
e error occurs when the address of a non-data node is added to the connection string and a bucket is then accessed.
Reproduction Steps
Couchbase Cluster
- Version: 7.1.4
- Bucket: travel-sample
- Node Configuration:
- Node 1: Data (10.5.0.2)
- Node 2: Data (10.5.0.3)
- Node 3: Index+query (10.5.0.4)
- Node 4: query (10.5.0.5)
JS Code
index.js consists of the different types of connections attempted. A total of 7 different cases were tested out.
Logs
DEBUG level logs of the SDK were collected for all the 7 cases.
