    Description

      The authenticator interface involves both GRPC and Netty, albeit in Stability.Internal fields.  Still, it doesn't feel the cleanest approach - maybe there are ways to improve this interface.

      We'll also need to provide CertificateAuthenticator support for Protostellar... somehow.
